Praised be Jesus Christ!
Thank you for your interest in Saint Peter School!
I’ll leave it to Principal Samantha Anderson to tell you how wonderful our school is academically. How we have contributed the majority of National Merit Scholars in the Fox Valley. I’ll leave it to Mrs. Anderson to tell you about our highly skilled staff, our state of the art facility, our class sizes which provide a tailor-made education for each and every student. Mrs. Anderson can tell you about our top notch sports programs and our commitment to the arts. She can tell you, better than I, about forming our students with a concern for the poor and a desire for community outreach.
I’d like to tell you about the truly Catholic nature of Saint Peter School. As your priest, I promise you that your child will receive a deeply Catholic education. This means much more to me than simply adding religion as a subject alongside math and English. By providing your child with a Catholic education, we promise that your child will see the applicability of his or her faith in all subjects. There will be a strong priest presence in the school. Fr. John McFadden and I will be at the school every single day, meeting with kids, chatting with the students, praying with them, saying Holy Mass for them, hearing their confessions, eating with them in the cafeteria, and so on. The Pew Center for Research tells us something we’ve known for years, it makes quite a difference for a child’s development whether or not he or she has a good rapport with the parish priest(s). My promise to you is, at Saint Peter, we will make every effort to provide for the spiritual needs and healthy growth of your child.
I have found in Principal Samantha Anderson a caring and compassionate soul, deeply dedicated to each student, with a passion for Catholic education. She is professional and at the same time personable. I’m sure you will find her to be an asset to our community. Please feel free to direct any questions you might have to her.
At the same time, my door is always open. I’d be more than happy to meet with you and answer any questions you might have.
Once again, thank you for your interest in our school!
May Saint Peter, the Prince of the Apostles, intercede for you and obtain for you many graces of peace and joy.
