As I begin my 18th year teaching at St. Peter School, I marvel at how wonderful our SPS family remains. I love teaching here so very much. It was with much deliberation and prayer that I chose to job share this year and thus teach part time. I promise to make this a great year for your children. Liz Boehm and I will be working closely to make the transitions seamless and the education of your children the best we can possibly provide.
I would like to thank the following generous ladies who have volunteered to give us their time and talent in the classroom as center moms. They are: DeeDee Morcos, Sarah Totman, Michelle Haddad, Susan Hellman, Jennifer Robertson, Karen Hyde and Jolene Austin. Thank you so much, we couldn't run this program without your help. That being said, I still need a few more morning helpers on Mon., Wed. and Thurs. from 8:30 to 10:15. Please consider volunteering - it is good for all of us. Thank you.

This week in class Monday
August 30, 2010
Homework will be a paper called Let Me Introduce Myself. Please include a photo on the top of the paper, we will display these on our bulletin board. The paper/picture will be returned.
Mrs. Boehm will distribute and post new spelling words every Monday and give a spelling test to the class every Friday.
Tuesday

Homework will be a writing paper about What I Like.
Wednesday
September 1, 2010
Mrs. Boehm will always assign math homework on Wednesdays.
Thursday
September 2, 2010
Every Thursday the homework will be the same. Please remember to sign the journal after you have enjoyed reading it with your 1st grader. They will lose a star (not good) if it is not signed.
Homework - sign journals and study for spelling test.
Friday
September 3, 2010
Friday will be the same all year.
No homework. Have a great weekend.
Remember this is a 3 day weekend for Labor Day, hope you have a great time.
