Treat / Food Policy
Classroom Treat Policy
Any treats that will be passed out for birthdays or special occasions MUST be individually (each item that will be passed out) wrapped by the manufacturer. The item MUST also contain a food ingredient label. This helps students with allergies, diabetes, and other diseases determine if it’s an acceptable snack. The snack will only be distributed to the student’s classroom, no other classroom or office distribution will be allowed. If the student is in a nut-free classroom, ALL treats brought in, must be nut-free.
Food for Classroom Parties must be discussed with the School Nurse prior to the event.
Any treats that are brought into the classroom and are not in compliance with the Classroom Treat Policy will be sent home.
